Cranbourne West Primary School - 9th May 2016
Big thanks to Cranbourne West Primary School for allowing me to come and speak to 150 of their grade 5 & 6 students about my book and my writing. Here are some photos from the event.
Gayle Parker, Librarian, who helped organise the visit.
150 students all listening intently.
Talking to the kids about the various aspects of writing that ultimately can lead to a published book.
Ok, who thinks this is a Woord-boar and who disagrees?
My assistance on the day, Connor, and Mum, Alison, a volunteer at the school.
Wordsearch competition students: Indi, Jordan, Josh, Kalem, Mitchell (winner) & Jasmine.
Congratulations to Mitchell, winner of the Portallas-themed Wordsearch competition.
All the kids were very attentive for the duration.
Playing guess the name of the Forestium animal, which was loads of fun all around.
So much fun with all the kids being so interactive.
